Geek Warning!!! :

I've had to do tons of macro work for WestJet, School, and CGI... so here's a good forum if your having troubles, or are bored.  It has VB discussions for all microsoft applications ... but search for 'excel' if you want to browse.

http://forums.microsoft.com/MSDN/ShowForum...mID=74&SiteID=1

Seriously though, I've done way too much of this macro shit ... so let me know if you need help.

Also Bored,
Neal

Wow, we are geeks huh!  Thanks for the link, I'll check it out when I have some time to kill.

On another note, they should really be teaching more Excel in school.  It's pretty much the standard for all businesses.  I think only had one or two classes where we did some modeling with it, the rest of the time we were always using Mathmatica and Shazam.  Those programs are pretty much unheard of in the business world, everyone just uses Excel.

Ok, enough with the nerd talk... who's gonna get the drunkest at Mucks wedding?  I figure I'll be in the running forsure!  Oh and Neal, where are you playing on Friday again?  I'm gonna come watch.

I second the teaching of Excel in school.  It's totally a huge asset to know how to use that. You can do so much stuff in such a small amount of time with it.  There is a VBA class at U of C, it's an OPMA class.

Advanced Spreadsheet Modelling using VBA: Business Applications
Spreadsheet Modelling using advanced automation tools provided through Visual Basic for Applications (VBA). Advanced quantitative modelling will be combined with introductory programming and application development to provide decision support systems applied to the fields of operations management, finance and marketing.

Perhaps that would have been useful to take.  Oh well.

Let's not set our sights too high now Badwin.  Be realistic. I think if we manage to get through the "I Do" part without full frontal nudity we'll be doing pretty good.

Ughhhh, it's another one of those days again.     All my work is done and I have nothing left on my task list.  I don't quite know what to do.  I've done alot of Excel work lately so I have no interest in practicing those skills right now.

Any of you have any good sites to visit... perhaps some good reading or some skills I can waste some time learning?

Help me!
