Finally, The summer soccer league is upon us, this season is a little different, the season runs for a different time. It involves an 18 game schedule running from May 24th to September 24th, yes, that's no typo, September 24th. The games will be on Tuesday or Thursday nights. And its gonna be $90 again, so wickedreasonable. Any extra funds we get, we should rent a field for a fun game again, that was definitely a highlight of the year!

This time, the jerseys are included, weird. So, I am accepting team names and jersey colors now, do it, yeah do it. Tell you're friends, as is life, we will need girls, so get them on board,

Few New Rules:

The Rules of the Game:
• Goals scored by men are worth 1 point, and goals scored by women are worth 2 points
• Each Home team must provide an assistant referee to for the box to manage the clock and assist the referee. This person does not have to be a player, but must be over the age of 18.

I have a thought brewing for a team name.... you will see it shortly.

I still think that our team name should be the Cleveland Steamers. It has class, real class. Cole also agreed with me.

I also think we should get a post going listing everyone who wants to play.. Perhaps I'll do that right now.....

You all know i'm up for playing, i'll just be waiting on the team name. Personally i prefer Cleveland Steamers compared to Rabid Bumble Bees. Sorry Bob.

Hello All. First off I would like to thank everyone who has pitched in to make this team happen, and I thank you all for your patience with me as I work 7 days a week and leave town sporadically. Registration was a success and Jay and Jen promise me they will be registering this thursday.

You must get and ID card to play and I hope you do it this Thursday if you didn't tonight (May 19) from 8-10pm as our first game could potentially be next Tuesday (May 24). The schedule for the seating round will be up on www.calgarycoedsoccer.com on Wednesday May 18th

Team Captain Meeting Summary:
-We are all there to have fun, everyone must adhere to fair play principles.
-Any suspension carries over to any league that you may be involved in.
-Player cards are mandatory for every game, no card, no play.
-Girl goals are worth 2 points, even after these 2 guys argued about that for over half an hour, they will die virgins.
-There is a limit of 25 people per team and you can dress no more than 18, we have 19 and Jay and Jen if the register
-The home team must provide 2 game balls and a timekeeper to operate the scoreboard. I may be still gimped, so I may do this for the first game.
-Shin guards are MANDATORY!!
-Wins are worth 3 points, ties are worth 1 point, but fair play scores are worth its weight in beer care of Big Rock. So lets have some fun and make sure the other team does too.

I think it was more of a slap on the wrist. I hope you are good to go, we are going to be short about 90 players on our team.
