Title: Barry Bonds 756 Ball
Post by: Drew on September 20, 2007, 01:22:03 AM
So apparently this fashion designer Marc Ecko bought Barry Bond's record breaking homerun ball for some crazy amount (I think 3/4 of a Million) and has decided to be democratic and allow the people to decide it's fate.

On his website people have until September 25th to vote and your three choices are:

1) Give it to the Hall of Fame
2) Burn an asterisk into it with a branding iron and then give it to the Hall of Fame.
3) Somehow put it on a rocket ship and get them to ditch it into space.

Not sure how that last one would work out, but anyway go vote and have your say.

What the hell people.  Vote to send it into space.  I'm calling his bluff.

I voted to send it into space. I don't think this deuche has the gonads to fire his 3/4's of a million dollar baseball into space on a million dollar + space vehicle..

I voted for the asterisk because it would be more insulting to Barry Bonds, and that is what counts most.

ps: he says he won't be rejoining the Giants next year, but he will continue his baseball career.  Oh goodie...

I made a vain attempt to vote for branding it before launching it into space, but failed miserably. I sufficed with a vote of sending it to space, if the man can afford a $750,000 leather-clad rubber ball, he can afford another.
