Okay listen up, here is the deal. I figured it would be easy if we had a squad for Subspace. Just for shits, but also because I think you can squad chat and whatever. Anyway, I ended up creating two squads so we need to decide which is the best.

"Gong Show" is taken. However, I just created both "Gongshow" and "The Gong Show".

Let me know which you think is the best so we can get on the same page. Or tell me if this is a stupid idea and I'll just drop it.

Also I thought having a banner for the Gong Show to put on our ships would be sweet. However my attempts are failing, mostly due to the technological limitations of Subspace. Thus far I have made a shitty gong and a shitty stick guy, a la the banner at the top of the page. I'll post them both here though I encourage someone to try something else.

So after we get these decisions made (if we actually want to do these things) then myself or someone will post the info on how to join the squad and now to implement your banner.

I was just thinking that most people would pick that one over the other. Anyway the password is banana, so everyone can join. We can worry about a banner later if we actually care.

So when you are in the game, for those of you who do not know, type:

?squadjoin=The Gong Show:banana

That should bring you within the squad and everyone will think you are uber.

Who as is playing occasionally? I know bob, myself, Andrew, and Jami are. Shad, Jaron, steve, Jay... are you all down for some SS? We shoul have a night were we all get on and play.

I really want some easy kills... haha

typing ?find and then the persons name will tell you if they are online and which arena they are in. then you press ESC, choose the arenas, and then choose the arena that the person is in. THEN someone will probably send you a message and tell you to enter =1212 or something to join the team.

Okay just a few pointers, problems I think you folks may encounter. When you initially run the game you may not have the correct zone list. What you need to do is when you first open the game, before you join a zone. Click View on the pull down menu, then go to Zones. Once that menu opens up, click the "Download" button and find SSCU Extreme Games on the list. Add it to your zone list and hit okay. Then join that zone.

As before as Jami said, to find people type ?find playername. Then you can move to that Arena by pressing Esc, then A, then PgUp and PgDn to navigate. Use the help files or F1 for the basic controls etc.

Also, you can message the entire squad. Type # then your message.
