We are going to make this the best and longest topic ever seen on the Gong Show.  Do you think that the XO looks too old for his slutty wife?

And the ladies on BSG are WAY cuter than any we know. If you can't get'em in real life you may as well have them on your television.

Isn't that what Porn is for?  Unless these BSG ladies/cyborgs/whatever they are get naked I think your argument is totally baseless.

Season 1 complete.  That was awesome when you-know-who gets shot.  I'm sure he will survive.  Does that prove he isn't a Cylon?  Unless that was all part of the plan to make us think he isn't.  Ah, circles!!

Good thing no one knew that Baltar tested Boomer, otherwise he would be in shit for not telling everyone that she was a Cylon.  Though the Chief had a pretty good idea, hope he feels some guilt.

No I'm pretty it sure works.  When Boomer comes to ask him, her test comes up as red and it even shows the screen.  But he changes it to green and tells her she isn't one.  After that I think he just arbitrarily "passes" people regardless of the result.

Maybe he is a bad guy or maybe he wants to unveil all the Cylons at once.  I mean if he reveals one person to be a Cylon, the others will know his test works and then might come after him.  So it may be safer to wait until all the testing is done.

This argument doesn't really work though, because in that same episode he is telling Number Six that each test will take 11 hours and to do all the blood samples will take 60 years.  So basically I'm not sure what his deal is, but the test does seem to work.  Therefore he must know whether Ellen is a Cylon for real, even though he just tells everyone that they pass.

I was going to find the episode where he tests Boomer but the BSG wiki I use is hanging.  It may be in Season 1 Episode 9 - Tigh Me Up, Tigh Me Down.  In any case that is for sure the one where he "passes" Ellen and basically states to Number Six that it is easier if everyone "passes" for now.

Oh and I should point out something just in case there is some confusion.  There are two "Cylon detectors" mentioned thus far into the show.  The first was during the mini series and it was completely made up.  Though he still managed to discover Aaron Doral was a Cylon, though he claimed it was because of the test.

Later he even admits to Adama that he does not have a working detector.  At which point he asks for plutonium to create a real one.  This is the one that I am talking about now that seems to work.  I just wanted to be clear because I know you missed some of the earlier episodes so I thought maybe you were working off the fake detector assumption from the mini series.

Anyway...I'm a nerd.

Andrew, don't read this next bit if you don't want to have some of season 3 spoiled. Nothing major, just some finer details. This relates to discussion on who the next five Cylon Models are, or at least who we think they are.

Baltar I think has to be some sort of Cylon. He protected Boomer and rigged the "Cylon Detector". He's survived the initial Cylon attack despite having been in a house with the Clylon model"six", as a nuclear blast ripped them both apart. He has a connection with "six" where they interact. In season 3 "six" and Baltar basically share information.....

Balter is numero 1 on my list of possible Cylons...

That's my little BSG rant. Stay tuned, I am sure there will be more

You had mentioned to me that Gaeda may be a Cylon as well.  I just watched the first two episodes of season two last night and he was a little sketchy.  It was his fault they were separated from the fleet when they jumped away from Kobol, forcing them to jump back and network the computers.

That resulted in a boarding as well as a virus attack that they almost didn't survive.  Of course these could have been mistakes, but they are pretty big screw ups.

Also there is a marine, I believe they call him LT that is part of the party that crashed on Kobol.  He keeps making sketchy calls and two people have already died because of him.  Not that it makes him a Cylon, but I'm wary of people in this show who seem to act against everyones interest.

And in response to you, Baltar does seem to be very very sketchy all the time.  How the hell does he get elected to government?  I wish I was a genius so I could be a sketch bag and still get respect.
