Title: Iggy or Kipper?

Well we all know that both of their contracts expire after next season.  What do you think the Flames should do between now and then?  It seems to me that they can only realistically keep one of them.  In fact it almost makes sense to sign one and trade the other as early as this summer while their stock is high.  I'll leave my opinion aside for the moment to see what everyone thinks first.  Let us all know your thoughts.

We are obviously not producting goals, but we have a goalie that can stand on his head and make incredible saves look easy. I think the bigger assumption is if Kipper actually wants to stay in Calgary. It's harder to find amazing goal tending than it is to find good leadership and goal scorers. Viva le Kipper!

As much as I like Iginla, I think this years playoff series answers the question with ease. How many goalies in the league can let in 5 goals and still be considered a #1 star? He faced 50 plus shots in 3 out of the six games, and Iginla only showed flashes of even being in the series. Like Badwin says, it's much harder to find a franchise goalie then it is to find a franchise RW.

My vote goes to Kipper!
